Larn Lab

The Larn Lab module, functions as action-based research participation that integrates PreK to 6 youth, Middle School, High School and young adult participants. This lab system allows participants to engage in environmental education through observational data collection, enrichment, presentations, and preparedness training.

Applying Sustainability Innovation & Technology

Larn Lab consists of a series of learning activities that align with sustainability innovation, technology and cultural needs of the participating student.

Developed Through Academic Research

Larn & Larn Lab was designed from the dissertation of Margaretann G. Connell, Ph.D. & her 20+ year experience as a certified Science Specialist for 6-8th grade. Now retired, Dr. Connell has evolved her research into environmental education frameworks (LEEAF, TREEES, CREEC) that target culturally-aligned EE curriculum.
